B, werden stattdessen am anderen Ende der Welt auf den Wellen des Ozeans reiten, am Korallenriff von Teahupo'o in Französisch-Polynesien.
Die UNESCO akkreditierten Gruppe Ile du Monde (www.iledumonde.
org/) flog im Juli 2023 nach Papeete, der Hauptstadt von Tahiti und für drei Wochen lang fotografierte die traditionellen Sportarten der Tu'aro Mahoi und Heiva-Tänze in Französisch-Polynesien.
Mana, die heilige Kraft, die allen Lebewesen innewohnt und sie miteinander verbindet, floss in Hülle und Fülle über Teilnehmer und Zuschauer.
Körper, Wellen, Muskeln, Lächeln und tropische Klänge waren der Anlass für die Fotoausstellung La mana olympique (www.

Diese Ausstellung unterstützt die französisch-polynesische Regierungsvereinigung zum Schutz der Umwelt Te Ora Naho (https://www.
teoranaho-fape.org/).
Der Erlös der Ausstellung kommt Tahiti zugute und dient dem Schutz und der Wiederherstellung der örtlichen Ökosysteme sowie der Entwicklung von Modellen für eine nachhaltige Entwicklung im Hinblick auf Mensch und Umwelt.
